Evan Fournier commented on Twitter the postponement of the match Paris – Fenerbahce for the 17th matchday of the EuroLeague.

Paris are dealing with several cases of the virus, as a result of which they do not have eight healthy players – as defined by the EuroLeague statute – to compete in the game of the 17th game against Fenerbahce, which was scheduled for Thursday night (19/12, 21 :30). Therefore, the organizing authority proceeded to postpone the match, which will be fixed at a later date.

The treaty in question does not agree with Evan Fournier, who was placed via a post on Twitter, stating: “All teams play every night with sick and injured people. If you can’t show up with enough players to play, it should count as a loss. When you postpone the game, potentially you allow teams to manipulate the rules and that becomes dangerous. That’s just my opinion.”
