BMX’er Weidmann stranded at World Cup freestyle, Krämer later in action

BMXer Levi Weidmann stranded in the semi-finals of the Olympic park component at the Freestyle World Championships.

The 24-year-old Weidmann, who won his third national title a few weeks ago, scored 75.00 in Abu Dhabi after two runs. Weidmann finished seventeenth.

The best twelve reached the final, which is scheduled for Saturday. For the women, Indy Krämer will be in action later today in the qualifying of the park section.
