PSV – Feyenoord will be refereed by Serdar Gözübüyük on Sunday afternoon. The Haarlem referee will therefore be in charge of the last Eredivisie top match in 2024.
It is certainly not an unknown poster for Gözübüyük: it will be the sixth time that he is a referee at a meeting between the Eindhoven team and the Rotterdam team. Twice in the context of the Johan Cruijff Scale, both teams attend once. In three meetings in the Eredivisie, Feyenoord was the strongest once, and two draws were recorded.
Joey Kooij also received a prestigious meeting with AZ – FC Twente. Sparta Rotterdam and Ajax will have to deal with Allard Lindhout. The two most talked about referees of the last round, Sander van der Eijk and Edwin van de Graaf, will not be active on the field this weekend. Van de Graaf supports Lindhout at Spangen as a fourth official, Van der Eijk is VAR at Heracles Almelo – FC Groningen.
