‘Everyone knows their role in Olympiakos, together with Panathinaikos we are the best teams in the EuroLeague’

Luka Vildosa returns tonight (28/11, 21:30, Novasports Prime, LIVE from SPORT24) to Belgrade to face Partizan wearing red and white, not those of Red Star, but those of Olympiakos.

The Argentine guard shared his impressions of his return to the Beogradska Arena via Mozzart Sport and noted that the red and whites have a team, in which everyone knows what their role is. Asked about the best EuroLeague teams, he named Olympiacos and Panathinaikos AKTOR.

For the situation it is in: “I’m good, I feel good and I’m excited to go back to Belgrade to play again against Partizan and in front of their fans.”

For his impressions of Belgrade on his return: “It was beautiful when I arrived. The first thing I did when I entered the pitch was to look at the stands where the fans were when we won the first Euroleague derby – the one Nemanja Nedovic decided with a three-pointer. I remember the Partizan fans holding their heads. Beautiful memories, but well they are in the past now. I’m here with the goal of winning with another team.”

For Olympiakos: “We are playing very well. We are at the top level. We have good players. We are working onthe details we are missing. We have the quality. We can fix some small mistakes with our talent. We have a deep team on the roster where everyone knows their role. I’m happy and I try to enjoy everything.”

For the best teams right now: “Apart from Zalgiris, which is playing well, Panathinaikos and Olympiacos are the two best teams in the EuroLeague. PAnathinaikos shows again that it is one of the best and Olympiacos after three Final Fours is in the process of doing something extraordinary. The EuroLeague has started, we have to keep winning and be ready for the playoffs.”

For Partizan: “It’s ma completely new team. I only remember Obradovic who is still there. It’s hard to adjust. Every new player comes with their own mentality. I think the coach is doing a great job, but in Europe there is not much patience. Everyone wants wins and results right away. It’s going to take time, but I think he’s going to do great things.”

For Nemanja Nedovic: “I have spoken with Nedovic several times. Now my fiancee and I watch every Red Star game. Whenever we can, we support from home. The connection with Olympiakos is also amazing. I think Red Star can do a lot in this season if he continues to not give up and play this way.”
