CUP OF GREECE
The holding of the Final Eight of the Greek Cup in Crete is up in the air, as there is a problem with the cameras at the island’s stadiums.
The games that decide the Greek Cup winner in basketball in recent years are held in Dyo Aorakia in Crete, however, its hosting on this particular island this year is up in the air.
The reason is the fact that there is a problem with the cameras in the stadiums of Crete, which do not meet the specifications according to the new legislation, which recently came into force for basketball.
Meetings are to be held to see if a solution can be found, or if another stadium will need to be searched to host the Final Eight.
We remind you that last July, SPORT24 had revealed that the Final Eight in the current season was going to take place in three parts of Crete, namely Heraklion, Chania and Rethymnon. That is, one side of the scoreboard to compete in Chania, the other in Rethymnon and the winners to meet in Heraklion.
