Peter Bosz will have to manage a fit PSV selection – Voetbal International

The PSV internationals have trickled back in after the international break. The people of Eindhoven are preparing for a tough series of competitions until the winter break. A major step must be taken in the Champions League and the gap with the competition in the Eredivisie must be maintained and preferably expanded. VI lists the most important themes that trainer Peter Bosz will have to deal with.

DIt is a certainty that PSV is facing the most challenging block since the start of the season. In the last four weeks of the first half of the season until the winter break, Peter Bosz’s team will play eight more times.

In the Eredivisie, the Eindhoven team takes the field five more times. PSV has a five-point lead in the rankings over the surprising number two FC Utrecht, which still has to catch up with Ajax. If the team from Amsterdam win that match on December 4, they will be four points behind the champion.

In that series of league matches, in addition to the matches with FC Groningen and SC Heerenveen, PSV plays against FC Utrecht, FC Twente and Feyenoord. PSV will therefore be tested to the maximum in Block 4 of the Eredivisie. If Bosz’s team passes this interim exam well (read: without losing points), just like last year during this period, PSV will take a good step towards prolonging the title.
