KAE Olympiacos’ update on the diagnosis of Sasha Vezenkov’s injury, who will miss at least two EuroLeague matches.

As KAE Olympiacos informed on Monday afternoon (11/18), the Bulgarian superstar has suffered “comminuted fracture of the nail phalanx of the big toe of the left foot“, as a result of which he has to be out of action for about two weeks. Piraeus will face Baskonia on 21/11 for the 11th matchday of the EuroLeague and Partizan on 28/11 in Belgrade for the 12th matchday. Next match is away from home with Monaco, on December 4. In the championship, Olympiacos will host Peristeri on December 1 at 2:15 p.m.

In 10 games of this year’s EuroLeague, Vezenkov has 18.5 points (2nd scorer) from 64% on two-pointers, 35% on three-pointers and 89% on shots, 5.9 rebounds (8th in the competition), 1.7 assists, 3.7 earned fouls and 22.9 points in the system rating (1st) per 27:40. In seven games of the Stoiximan GBL he has 19.6 points (91% on 2-pointers, 32% on 3-pointers, 86% on shots), 5 rebounds and 27.3 points in the evaluation system per 22:25 of participation.
