The official UEFA website published a decision regarding the match of the fifth round of the Nations League between the national teams of Romania and Kosovo, which was suspended due to the fact that the Kosovars left the field due to insults from Romanian fans.
The statement says that the Kosovo team received a technical defeat (3:0) for an unfinished match with Romania. Also, one of the next matches of the Kosovo national team will take place without spectators.
It is also reported that the Romanian federation was fined 128 thousand euros for numerous violations, including “racist, xenophobic behavior of fans” and “provocative political slogans”, but the Kosovo national team was punished with a technical defeat of 3:0, because it was they who responsible for the fact that the match was not completed.
