Announcement of Olympiacos: “The president of PAE and the family of Olympiacos have a clear conscience and are not being blackmailed”

Olympiacos issued an official announcement regarding the call of a misdemeanor nature – as emphasized by PAE – against members of its administration for the case of the incidents with Rentis, citing fraud.

The reaction of Piraeus was immediate for the summons of a misdemeanor nature – as noted in the announcement of the PAE – for the president of the PAE and also for members of the club’s administration regarding the case of the incidents in Rentis where the death of the police officer, Giorgos Lyggeridis, occurred.

This reaction came in an official way from PAE Olympiacos after court reports that broadcast on Tuesday the information about the summons for an apology for November 26 (for 2 offenses in relation to the incidents in Rentis) of Vangelis Marinakis, Yiannis Moralis, Konstantinos Karapapas , Dimitris Agrafiotis and Michalis Kountouri. The announcement of the Red and Whites notes the following:

With reference to the summons of a misdemeanor nature, against members of its management, PAE OLYMPIAKOS announces that:

Today’s (in time we are talking about Tuesday) development, which had been announced for weeks by certain political and business centers, is a new attempt to blackmail PAE OLYMPIAKOS in order to bend both the OLYMPIAKOS family and its President himself.

This development came as a continuation of the unjust mass targeting of our followers as a criminal organization.

Even the most naive can understand that the time chosen is not random. This particular methodology has political characteristics and unfortunately instrumentalizes Justice itself.

Those who operate under parastatal conditions in the public life of the country are responsible for this mess.

The President of PAE Olympiacos and the family of Olympiacos have a clear conscience, they are not being blackmailed, they are not bending.
