VFor a down-to-earth Groninger who ended up in India as a professional football player, every day is an adventure, even after almost a year and a half. Yoëll van Nieff just saw a tuktuk tip over at an insanely busy intersection. Pedestrians, scooter riders and motorists rushed to put the cart back upright. Van Nieff himself, who was in the car with a Mumbai City FC teammate, also got out and lent a helping hand. “The tuk tuk could continue again, into the big anthill,” laughs the 31-year-old midfielder, making a video call from his apartment.
